Pelham coaches Chris Chapman and Neil McMillian after winning the national 15s title with the NYAC team.
After playing for NYAC’s 7s team in the national championships at the beginning of the month, Chris Chapman was selected for the U.S. national 7s team.
That makes two out of three coaches from Pelham on the national squad. Toby L’Strange was named to the Eagles 15s team in the spring.
“All we need now is a miracle and a time machine for me to get on the U.S. team,” joked Matt Persanis, director of Pelham Youth Rugby.
